Welcome
I believe therapy is a space where people can safely explore their challenges, heal old wounds, and move toward growth and self-acceptance. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique story.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, relationship struggles, anxiety, and the lingering effects of trauma. My style blends warmth and directness. I listen deeply while also helping clients identify patterns, belief systems, and develop practical tools for change.
Having an extensive career in the mental health community in various areas has been a gift, as I get to see how resilient people are and that change is indeed possible. I feel honored to walk along the side of my clients as they move towards greater peace, clarity, and fulfillment. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen and supported.
Outside of my professional work, I value family time, authenticity, creativity, and meaningful connections with friends. I enjoy cooking, creating recipes, and sharing food with others. I love design, art, and being in a creative mode around my house. I have an endless passion for helping animals get rescued and placed into their forever homes. I currently volunteer and foster dogs for the Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego. I volunteer at Orphaned Objects, a great thrift store that supports the Helen Woodard Animal Center.
I am also a Christian and a follower of Jesus Christ. If you would like to incorporate spiritual support into your therapy, please let me know. I am happy to integrate faith-based perspectives into the work we do together, if that is meaningful to you.
